Flat-Headed Babies?

Article: The way that we were all taught to let our babies sleep is now causing them learning disabilities. A study of 476 babies is being done, of which 40% have the flattened head syndrome. There have been ways to fix babies that do suffer from a flattened head, but ways to prevent it include: changing babies head positions while they are sleeping, providing more tummy time, and not letting babies sleep in their car seats or bouncey chairs.

  1. I suffer, yes I do say suffer from plagiocephaly. My mother never turned me in the crib so as the result of her child neglect the back of my head is flat.
I developed low self-esteem. I was a slow learner, still am, never excelling in anything. I became reclusive over time, I wear a hat to hide the embarrassing shape of my head. I have to search a child's head size to get a hat that will fit. I can honestly say if asked, "do you hate your mother?" my answer would be yes because of her negligence and the way it's affected my life.
